本事業について

関東・甲信越ブロックの日本語教育に関わる課題解決に向けて、教育組織を縦断的にネットワーク化し、教育組織だけではなく、日本語学習者のキャリアを支援するために包括的なプログラムの共有と、その教育者および支援者の育成に取り組む。年少者、高校生、大学生、市民に対する日本語教育の必要性が増している中で、日本語教師不足の解決は本ブロックでの喫緊の課題である。特に、日本語教育人材が限られている本ブロックでは、限られた日本語教師が多様な日本語学習者に対する教育の必要性がある。その課題に取り組むための日本語教師養成プログラムの開発、研修を行いながら、地域の日本語教育ネットワークを構築する。スタートとして、筑波大学をハブとして、つくば市、茨城県を中心として課題に取り組み、順次関東・甲信越ブロックへの拡大を目指す。

1）令和5年度は、茨城県を中心として日本語教育に関わる関連組織との協議会を発足させ、その後関東・甲信越ブロックでの日本語教育の課題解決として、教育委員会、関連団体との連携により日本語教育の強化を探求する。
2）年少者、高度専門人材、技能実習生など、多様な日本語学習者に必要な日本語教育のニーズを調査し、日本語教師養成に役立てる。
3）多様なニーズに対応できる日本語教師養成プログラムとして、高大連携、教育委員会、日本語学校との連携により質の高い日本語教師養成トレーニングを行う。

To address Japanese language education challenges in the Kanto/Koshinetsu region, we'll establish a network of educational organizations. Sharing comprehensive programs will support both organizations and the careers of learners. Resolving the shortage of Japanese language teachers is critical, especially as the demand increases.
In this limited personnel region, our focus is on educating diverse language learners. By developing teacher training programs and creating a regional network, we aim to tackle this issue, starting with Tsukuba City and Ibaraki Prefecture and expanding to Kanto/Koshinetsu blocks.

1. In FY2020, we initiated a council with local organizations focusing on Japanese language education in Ibaraki Prefecture. We collaborated with educational boards to address language education challenges in the Kanto and Koshinetsu regions, aiming to enhance Japanese language education.
2. Investigating the diverse needs of Japanese language learners—ranging from youth to specialized professionals and technical trainees—we utilize findings to support the training of Japanese language teachers.
3. Creating a versatile Japanese language teacher training program, we strive for excellence through collaboration among high schools, universities, educational boards, and Japanese language schools.
